Product Details

The Rectangle to Round Insert Adapter Boot allows you to make connections between round flex liners to inserts and stoves with rectangle or oval exhaust openings. The heavy gauge cast iron boot can withstand extreme temperatures. The collar is angled back toward the damper. The low profile design will clear most fireplace openings. Our adapter boot features a collar and base that can be separated to adjust to 10 degree or 30 degree tilt to accommodate most dampers. It is recommended that you use a chimney liner Appliance Connector to connect the liner to the insert boot and refractory cement to seal the connection between the boot and the stove.

Boot Dimensions

Outside Dimensions: 17.25" wide x 10.25" deep x 5.5" tall.
Inside Dimensions: 14.75" wide x 9.25" deep x 5" tall.
Wedge shaped.

Installation Information & Video

To connect the boot to your stove or insert, use the Furnace Cement (optional accessory) to seal where the Adapter Boot meets your stove / insert. There are cut-outs on the side of the boot for you to bolt it to the stove / insert (hardware to bolt to your stove is not included). This is necessary to be sure the Adapter Boot is secure during installation of your flexible chimney liner, during cleanings, etc.

Great Product With Some Challenges

Used this on a Black Bart II stove requiring rectangle-to-round adapter along with a 8" x 20' 316ti liner.

The hardest part was fastening the round adapter collar to adapter body. Appliance adapter and collar were put together first, insert back in and adapter body snuck in from the side. Due to very tight clearance in my application, I couldnt really do it another way. Everything had a healthy bead of furnace cement on contact surfaces and on inside. Followed instructions to cure furnace cement.

The most difficult parts were cutting the damper box and attaching collar to adapter body so possibly reconsider the attachment design to something threaded or even solid through in 3 spots to feed bolts through. Recommend larger stainless bolts and spring washers due to heat cycles.

Great customer service

I received the round insert boot but it was damaged. I called Rockford at 4 pm and they sent a replacement that day! I was super impressed at how quickly they responded and it was a true breath of fresh air. This was my first purchase from Rockford but I will be buying 2 chimney liners in the next week because of their customer service. Couldn’t be happier!
