Learn About Pellet Stoves

Typical Use & Summary:

Freestanding Pellet Stoves are a great choice to have the comfort of wood heat without the work involved in cutting, splitting, storing and lugging the messy wood into your home. Pellet Stoves burn efficiently, producing only a little soot and mostly fly ash compared to thick creosote that wood stoves produce. The manual ignition makes lighting the fire easy without the possibility of smoke entering in the room. All pellet stoves are equipped with a strong convection blower which quickly takes the chill out of the room.

Pellet Stoves can be installed and vented into a masonry chimney with a stainless steel chimney liner or Pellet Vent Pipe to vent the stove through the wall or through the roof.

The pellet stoves we offer range from 39,000 to 47,000 BTU's which can heat a space from 500 sq/ft to 2,000 sq/ft depending on the heat setting. Some Pellet Stoves offer a plenum kit which allows you to heat other rooms in the home as well.

Pellet stoves can run for multiple days with one hopper full of pellets. Pellet Stove hoppers can hold between 60 and 125 pounds of pellets, allowing them to burn from 51 hours to 120 hours depending on the heat settings. The burn time depends on the heat setting. The intuitive electronics and thermoelectric controls allow the stove to easily hold the desired tempreture in your home.
