Drying Time

Put Crown Chimney Seal on my poured, concrete three flue chimney. Put on slightly less than 1/4 inch thickness in 85 degree weather; finishing the application at 2:30 P.M. Instructions say 4 to 6 hours drying time in warm weather. We had rains that started exactly at 12:00 midnight that evening. There was some damage that occurred due to the rainfall to the troweled on Chimney Sealant. When using this product I would allow for the maximum drying time 12 to 14 hours at least.
