The Deluxe Terra-Cotta Mount Hinged Chimney Cap attaches to chimneys with exposed clay tile at the chimney top. If you like a more traditional style single flue chimney rain cap, then the Deluxe Terra-Cotta Mount Top Plate with Hinged Cap is a perfect fit. If you already have single flue caps on other flues, the deluxe top plate will be a great match. Simply pressure fit the stainless steel screws to the exposed clay tile at the top of your chimney. Easy and simple installation!
The collar quick-connect band clamp securely tightens to the flexible chimney liner with ease and supports the weight of the liner while also keeping rain, wind, and snow out of the existing flue. The clay tile flue should protrude through the chimney crown at least 1.5" in order for the pressure screws to grab the sides of the flue tile. The Deluxe Hinged Terra-Cotta Top Plate is offered in four plate sizes: 8" x 8", 8" x 13", and 13" x 13". Features 8" screen height. Once installed, simply disengage the clasp to lift the cap open for cleanings Note: For flexible chimney liners only.
