The Drolet Deco Alto offers the modern design features of the Deco Nano and Deco II wood stoves but has a much larger firebox and ability to heat much larger spaces. With a 2.4 cubic ft firebox the Deco Alto is able to accept up to a 20" log while producing up to 75,000 BTUs and heating up to 2,100 square ft. The Deco Alto is an EPA certified non-catalytic secondary combustion wood stove that has an impressive 8 hour burn time on one load of wood.
The taller than average height really stands out when you first see the Deco Alto wood stove. Traditionally most wood stoves of this size and class have a height between 30 and 32 inches tall. The Deco Alto towers above the rest with an overall height of 39 3/4". No need for a wood rack, the integrated storage under the firebox allows you to store the next few loads of wood without having to take up valuable floor space. The included ash drawer allows you to easily clean out the Deco Alto's firebox. An optional blower is available to help push the heat across a larger space.
If you are looking for a contemporary wood stove that is able to heat large spaces, the Drolet Deco Alto is for you. The Drolet Deco Alto qualifies for the wood and pellet stove tax credit through the end of 2032. See below for more details.
