Help & Documents

The DuraPlus Standard Roof Flashing is used to weatherproof the pipe when it is passing through a shingled roof. The Standard Flashing is available for either a 0/12 through 6/12 roof pitch or for 7/12 through 12/12 roofs. The top side of the flashing will tuck under the shingles while the bottom half of the flashing is overlapping the shingles to shed the water away from the hole.

The flashing is vented and also acts as a roof vent. A storm collar is required to seal the gap between where the pipe comes through the cone of the flashing. Storm collars sold separately. Use the Dead Soft Aluminum Flashing when passing through a metal roof.

Sizing:
Flashing and Storm Collar sizes follow the same sizing as the chimney pipe - sized by the inner diameter of the chimney pipe. The outside diameter of the DuraPlus pipes are 4 in. larger than the inside diameter. For example, the 6 in. storm collar will fit the 6 in. DuraPlus insulated pipe which has an outside diameter of 10 in.
