The DuraTech Wall Strap is used for interior and exterior installations to provide lateral support for the chimney pipe. The Wall Strap is required every 8 ft. above either the tee support for through the wall installation and the ceiling box for a through the ceiling or inside a chase installation. The Wall Strap is adjustable and will extend 2" to 6" from the side of the wall.
Note: The Wall Strap does not provide vertical support or load bearing. It is just for lateral stabilization.
