The DuraVent PelletVent Pro House Shield is used to protect the exterior structure from the heat and exhaust emission from damaging the exterior siding. The House Shield is suggested to be used if the home or structure has vinyl siding. The House Shield will help prevent the vinyl siding from warping or melting. The House Shield easily mounts to the side of the home over the wall thimble.
