The Enerzone Destination 2.3-I wood burning insert is a fresh take on the design of wood burning fireplace inserts. The contemporary cast iron flush mount surround is unlike anything in the industry and is the perfect picture frame for the large 18" x 11 7/8" glass door. The amazing appearance is a bonus on top of the powerful heating capabilities for the cold winter months.

Producing up to 75,000 BTUs allows the destination 2.3-I insert to heat up to 2,100 square feet. The 2.4 cubic foot firebox is capable of handling a 20" log and offers up to an 8 hour burn time on one load of wood. The Destination 2.3-I insert is EPA certified non-catalytic secondary combustion wood stove with an optimum efficiency of 79%.

Do you have a large fireplace opening? If so, an optional backer plate is available to extend the cast iron surround and conceal the fireplace opening. The backer plate is available in 29" tall by 44" wide and 29" tall and 50" wide for large fireplace openings. A 90 CFM blower is included and is easily accessible through a streamlined drawer system that is unlike any other manufacturer in the industry.

    Optional Accessories

    Faceplate

    The Faceplate Backing Plate is used when the standard flashing for the Enerzone Destination 2.3-I is not large enough to cover the opening of the fireplace. The standard Destination 2.3-I surround measures 35.875" x 25". The Faceplate Backing Plate can be used to extend the surround to seal off the fireplace. The Backing Plate is available in two sizes: 44" x 29" and 50" x 29". The backing plate easily installs to the back of the standard surround.

    In the event the current fireplace is elevated above the hearth, then the Faceplate Backing Plate Kit is installed. The Bottom Faceplate Backing Plate is used to finish off this type of installation. This backing plate will provide the look of a picture frame around the insert. The Bottom Faceplate Backing Plate is available in both 44" x 6" and 50" x 6" sizes.

    5" Fresh Air Intake Kit

    The 5" Fresh Air Oval Kit is required if you plan on connecting a fresh air intake pipe. The oval adapter kit comes with the oval adapter, 2 clamps and the fresh air intake register hood. The oval adapter is intended for the 5" fresh air intake pipe. You will have to manually ovalize the flexible intake pipe to make the connection to the adapter. The oval adapter can be positioned on either side of the fireplace insert.

    Rigid Firescreen

    The Rigid Fire Screen allows you to burn wood in the fireplace insert with the door open just like an old-time fireplace. Hear the crackle of the wood, watch the flames dance around in the firebox and relax around the wood insert on a cold winter's night. The Rigid Fire Screen is easy to install and easy to remove when you are ready to load more wood. The fireplace insert should not be burning with the door open without the firescreen.

    Tax Credit Information

    The Enerzone Destination 2.3-I wood burning insert is EPA rated and has a HHV rating of 75% which qualifies for the wood and pellet stove tax credit through the end of 2032. From January 2023 through December 2032 you can receive up to a 30% tax credit for the installation and parts required, such as chimney liner and insulation.
