Product Details
The optional Heat Shield for Surround Shelf is the easiest way to lower a combustible mantel or shelf down closer to the fireplace insert. With the Heat Shield install, you can lower your combustible mantel to 21" above the stove. The combustible mantel must be wider than 12". The standard clearance for a combustible mantel is 27" above the stove. The Heat Shield will give you more freedom and flexibility when planning the layout of the room.
