316Ti Inner Stainless Steel Pre-Insulated Chimney Liner is made in the United States. Used for fuel applications such as wood, pellet, oil, non-condensing gas, and coal. Air and water tight, manufactured with the highest quality 316Ti stainless steel .005" thick inner lining with 1/2" thick AES (Alkaline Earth Silicate) chimney flue liner insulation and a 430 grade stainless steel, .005" thick outer liner. The purpose of the stainless steel outer liner is to protect and keep the insulation intact during installation. It is best installed in tight flues or in chimneys that are jagged and rough on the inside. The outer wall can take a beating while keeping the insulation from tearing on protruding mortar joints on the inside walls of a brick chimney.
Pre-Insulated chimney liners also help expedite the chimney liner installation. The Pre-Insulated liner will come to your door ready to install. You will not have to spend your time wrapping the liner with the chimney insulation kit. U.L listed 1777 and comes with a lifetime transferable warranty. You can breathe easier knowing that our insulation is carcinogenic free.
What About Creosote? - Rockford chimney flue liners do not allow creosote to leach through the liner unlike masonry, clay tile flues, or liners not made of premium stainless. Creosote can catch fire, thanks to our Pre-Insulated Chimney Liners, this harmful creosote is minimized. Keep in mind, it is important to clean and inspect your chimney flue at least annually!
Measuring & Installing Your Insulated Chimney Liner
Measuring for your stainless steel insulated chimney liner is one of the most important steps. Specifically, measure the exact inside measurements of the chimney flue or brick chimney, this will ensure the chimney liner will fit down your masonry flue. Add 1.25” to the liner size for the outside diameter (Ex: The 6” liner has a 7.25” Outer Diameter).
