The SuperPro / SuperVent Rafter Radiation Shield must be installed where the chimney is enclosed immediately below the roof line. An example of this is when the attic space of a house is being used as living space (ie. bedroom, guestroom etc.). It must also be installed when height restrictions will not allow the use of the Attic Insulation Shield.
SuperPro and SuperVent models are compatible with each other according to the manufacturer. The 6 in. & 8 in. diameters are the SuperPro model (compatible with SuperVent). The 7 in. diameter is the SuperVent model (compatible with SuperPro).
