Help & Documents

The SuperPro / SuperVent Roof Brace Kit is used to provide extra stability of the chimney pipe above the roof line. The Roof Brace Kit is required when there is 5 feet or more of chimney pipe extending above the roof. It should also be installed for every 5 feet of chimney pipe above the roof. Example: If the chimney pipe is extending more than 10 feet above the roof, you will need to install two Roof Brace Kits.

The adjustable bracing poles can extend from 5 feet to 9 feet. The poles are to be positioned at a 45 degree angle from the pipe to the roof and positioned at 90 degrees apart from one another. Position the band around the pipe approximately two thirds up the pipe. Secure the feet of the poles to the roof joist with lag bolts to complete the installation.

SuperPro and SuperVent models are compatible with each other according to the manufacturer. The 6 in. & 8 in. diameters are the SuperPro model (compatible with SuperVent). The 7 in. diameter is the SuperVent model (compatible with SuperPro).
